James Turner

Biography

James specialises in agriculture and landed estate property work as well as acting for a broad range of landowner clients and rural businesses.  He has also built up a reputation advising landowners in strategic land arrangements.  James is a member of the Country Land and Business Association and sits on the Agricultural & Rural Land consultation board of a major legal publisher.

  • Sporting rights: shooting, fishing and hunting leases and licences

James trained with Clarke Willmott in Taunton and qualified as a solicitor in 1998 within their agriculture property team.  After five years with Clarke Willmott, James relocated to Sussex and worked as a company solicitor for a Sussex-based property development and investment company.  In 2010, James joined Thomas Eggar (now part of Irwin Mitchell) where he sat within the rural business and estate team, prior to joining Adams & Remers in 2017.
